• The KIDS matching grant is a program developed specifically for Kansas residents with income at or less than 200% of the current federal poverty level.
• The KIDS matching grant program will match the first $600 that a qualifying account owner contributes each year to a Quest529 Education Savings account. Matching grant funds must be spent for that beneficiary's qualified education expenses.
• The KIDS Matching Grant Program application must be received by the Treasurer’s Office no later than December 1 each year. All supporting documentation must be submitted with your application, or received within 14 days of your application.
• To receive this year’s matching grant funds, approved participants must contribute at least $100 this year by December 31. Contributions must be completed online by December 31; or mailed and postmarked by December 31and received by January 8 of the following year.

Account owners must be Kansas residents, and the combined federal adjusted gross income for all members of the account owner’s household (for the year prior to the year of the application) must be not more than 200% of the current federal poverty level.
